Introduction
L’INTERFORM is an agricultural commodities broker and trader specialising in dairy. We are one of the largest in Europe.
Thanks to decades of experience and a team of dedicated professionals, we manage business relationships across all sales channels: large-scale distribution, catering, wholesalers and industrial processors.
We have introduced many historical brands of the European dairy industry to the Italian market and we represent several companies in the sector, mainly German.
In recent years, L’INTERFORM has expanded both its geographic reach, to the United States and Canada, and its product assortment, which now includes plant-based dairy alternatives.
HISTORY
1968
INTERFORM SpA is founded in Milan by Arturo Jeker and introduces some historical producers to the Italian market, including Leerdammer, Ehrmann and Bergader.
1990
The company is sold to the Dutch multinational Royal Wessanen; Arturo Jeker remains its CEO.
1994
Lorenzo Ducrey becomes the new CEO.
1996
Wessanen sells Leerdammer to the French Bel group and with it, half of INTERFORM SpA, which remains dedicated to the distribution of this brand.
2001
Lorenzo Ducrey acquires the remaining shares of INTERFORM SpA from Wessanen, transforming it into a limited company, registered as L’INTERFORM Srl.
2011
L’INTERFORM Srl is acquired by DELMO, a South Tyrolean company active in the dairy market since 1973. Christian Pichler is appointed Chief Executive Officer.
2015
The sales department of DELMO, based in Bolzano, is merged with L'INTERFORM Srl. Both offices in Milan and Bolzano are maintained.
2017
L’INTERFORM Srl becomes a subsidiary of GERBER-RAUTH SpA, an investment fund owned by the Pichler family (by 2021 GERBER-RAUTH has transformed into an Srl).
2020
The Bolzano office (ex-DELMO) closes, ending spot sales of liquid milk. New collaborations are introduced in the field of plant-based dairy alternatives.
2022
Chiara Pezzali is appointed Chief Executive Officer.

The GERBER-RAUTH Group consists of the holding company, GERBER-RAUTH, its business unit and brand MEYLAND ADVISORS and the independent subsidiary company, L’INTERFORM. GERBER-RAUTH is a private investment company focusing on the Dairy Ecosystem© and adjacent sectors. MEYLAND ADVISORS is a client-centric boutique advisory unit offering business consulting solutions for actors in the Dairy Ecosystem© and adjacent agribusiness sectors.
